April 20th-24th Home Learning for Grade 7

Hello grade 7! I hope everyone is going great! Listed below are your lessons for this week. When completed, please email me your work or pictures to show that you are working hard. Andrea@esgenschool.ca

STEM project

This week, ASDN has released a new stem project that I would like every grade 7 student to complete.

Wind power is a green energy that is generated from the wind. It is a renewable resource because there will always be wind on Earth. Wind turbines harness the power of the wind to make electricity. Your challenge is to design and create a kite that will fly using the power of wind. ~Create, Test, Improve.

*Please email Miss Davis a picture of your project*

 MATH

Spend 15-20 minutes each day on IXL on your grade level. https://ca.ixl.com/math/

*If you don’t remember your password, please contact me.

Every night please go over your multiplications for 10 minutes.  Write them down, say out loud, and have a family member quiz you on your multiplication tables.

Here are some Multiplication pintables for extra practice: https://www.thoughtco.com/multiplication-worksheets-for-times-tables-2311662

-What is the most exciting thing about your week? Why?

-What do you miss about school? Why?

READING- Every student should be reading for 20 minutes each day. If you don’t have a good fit book at home, here is a website to choose from. https://stories.audible.com/discovery
