Esgenoopetitj School Staff Visits Our Students!! We Miss You Tons!! Monday, March 30, 2020!!
On Monday, March 30, 2020, the staff of Esgenoopetitj School drove around our community of Esgenoopetitj, street by street, and through the roads to greet and send out a shower of love and hope to our children and their families who were waiting along our route to dish it right back!! We miss all the students so much and had such a wonderful time driving around and seeing all the smiling faces! We saw many positively awesome signs along the route as well, filled with hope and love! In our IMAGE GALLERY, we'll be uploading a BUNCH of awesome pictures that were taken along the way!
We would also like to extend an expression of our appreciation and thanks to everyone involved in making this happen! First, a GREAT BIG thank you to Bernadette Sylliboy for getting our crew on board and planning it to a T! Thank you to Chief Alvery Paul and all the Esgeneoopetitj Council Members for helping us to make this happen!! Thank you to the Fisheries Officers: Leslie (Lips) Mitchell, Robin Somerville, and Troy Augustine, who in coordination with the RCMP Officers, provided and guided us through on the bus route safely and securely! We would like to thank the Neguac RCMP Detachment for providing us with your security on our route!
And last but not least, a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to ALL the kids and your families for braving the chilly weather or greeting us from the windows to make this an extremely special day!
We miss you ALL ESGENOOPETITJ STUDENTS!! We can't wait until this is all over and we get to come back to school with everyone!! In the meantime, stay safe, stay distanced, play with your siblings and stay at home where you're safe and sound!
Together, everyone staying home and with our own families in our homes, is keeping us safe even though we're far apart!!
All our love, hope and strength to all the families, kids, parents and guardians!
We miss you and we love you all!
Esgenoopetitj School Staff!
