Enlistment, basic training (if available at the time), shipment off to a foreign country; to a strange place where they had never stepped foot before. Men, women, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandfathers and grandmothers, mothers and fathers. They hailed tearful goodbyes to their families, some returning home in spirit, some returned maimed and wounded...one common thing they shared, memories etched in their minds and hearts forever. Generations after generations, they still hail the bugle call. Today, for Them, We Remember.
