Hey Everybody!! Tomorrow is Pyjamma Day!! All students who are not in outdoor activities, be sure to dress cozy and comfy in your favorite jammies!! :) Middle School Students, please be advised, jammies are NOT suitable outdoor wear, please dress for the weather!! No shorts, no t-shirts and no jammies!! :) Hats, gloves, winter jackets, warm socks, warm pants (or snow pants)!!!
Middle School students will either be going skiing or snow-shoeing. As tomorrow is Pyjamma Day, I am advising you that jammies will NOT be appropriate clothing for outdoor cold weather! Please dress warm enough for the weather!!!
Please Note! The Grade 6 Class is still accepting donations for their Food Bank Drive, as an on-going project through this year! Your donation of a non-perishable item(s) is greatly appreciated! A non-perishable item is that which does not get stored in the refrigerator! You may donate cereals, pastas, can goods, baby goods, as long as it does not have to be refrigerated!! All items donated go to the Alnwick Food Bank and all donations are always greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support!!
Parents and Guardians are Encouraged to Attend!! This is an important workshop being held tonight, Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria! The workshop centers around cyber-safety for children while they are online. It will focus on cyber-safety, cyber bullying, and other important aspects of the dangers of the cyber-world and access to the internet. We encourage all parents and guardians to attend and to be able to leave with tips on how to spot the dangers, including signs of cyber-bullying and whether your child is being bullied, or doing the bullying!

We need to have your phone number: Home Phone and/or Cell Phone number as it is regularly updated in order to contact you in case of emergency. Please contact Sam at the school as soon as possible OR Mr. Flanagan, or your child's homeroom teacher with your contact numbers, including any changes. Please also be assured that if your contact number is a private number it WILL remain confidential and with Sam, please let them know however, if it is confidential.

PLEASE REVIEW YOUR GEAR LIST THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE TO ENSURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR SUPPLIES!! :) The Annual BOS Games are EXTENDED OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES!! PLEASE TAKE NOTE!! Due to the extended periods of outdoor activities, including snow play, it is extremely important that you are dressed suitable for cold winter weather. There will be evening activities held outdoors as well, so it is imperative to be dressed warm at all times, preferably in layers that can be dressed down when needed.
