Social Studies: In your journal entries this week tell me the hobbies or activities that you are doing during this time to stay calm. I have resorted to long walks and Sudokus to help fill in the time, what are you doing?
Math: I have been checking IXL and very few students have been using it, try to get in 30 minutes a day doing Math problems on the site. Challenge yourself with harder problems!
English: Go to IXL language arts and do some excercises there. You can learn alot about writing from this site. (20 minutes).

With all the time you have spent at home, for the last few months you should be aware of all the things your mothers (or guardians ) do for you. Maybe you could think of something you could do ,that would show your appreciation for them on this Mothers Day. A card or maybe some help around the house would go a long way to show you care. Just sayin.

Here is the suggested work for this week. Thanks go out to Kikpesan for her pictures of a completed Spangler experiment (I hope the icecream tasted good!).
Science 1) Go to Steve Spanglers web site and try one of his experiments (see last weeks instructions).
2) Try upcycling something from around the house. Upcycling involves finding something from around the house that isn't being used anymore and working it into something new that is useful (repurposing). For example an old pop bottle could be remade into a bird feeder.
Social studies: Continue your daily journals, in addition to your observations tell me what you will be doing in 20 years time.
Math Continue with 30 minutes a day on ixl.
LA: Read for 30 minutes.
